2,232 cases of rape were reported in Tamil Nadu in 2023 and there were 6,745 cases of assault on women with
intent to outrage modesty (2022).

There are only 54,439 anganwadis in Tamilnadu whereas the beneficiaries are 3,575,868.
9.34 million (12.2% of the total population) are children in the age group 0-6 and there are more boys than
girls.

reduce social spending for society (Heckman's curve).
